On 27th August 2017, the villagers of the tranquil village of Monteton, Lot et Garonne, will wake not only to croissants, coffee and glorious sunshine but also to a brand new sound as for two days, some of the world’s top DJs will be taking part in Soirée47, entertaining the crowds with a two day music and arts festival, the first the region has seen.
Pixel Point Design is delighted to have had a major part to play as we were tasked with creating the branding of this intimate, family-friendly and à la mode event which included the logo creation and the production of the website. Les Barrett, founder of Soirée47, has seen many examples of our work in the past, and having faith in us as a professional service-provider, said he could count on us to get the job done.
We discussed the brief in detail and provided several options to Les, eventually settling upon this, which we all agreed captured the spirit of the event and the dichotomy between the traditional French scene and contemporary culture of the festival:
This was to become the branding used for the initial launch, importantly providing a consistent image across the Soirée47 website and social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), which together are driving the ticket sales, interestingly including a limited number of tickets for an after hours (until dawn) session in a secret location!
When asked for his take on working with Pixel Point Design, Les said,
“Excellent, professional, quick, and with someone as fussy as me, that’s not easy! It was a professional service from start to finish. They were happy to tweak things until it was perfect.”
This is not a one-off festival and Les intends to carry this event and our branding of Soirée47 far into the future. Les knows that we will always be available for on-going technical support for the website and that we take pride in providing instant telephone support and email response wherever possible.
