We then take a full backup of your site and work through a detailed onboarding checklist, usually completed within 24–48 hours for standard sites. This covers your plugins, theme, performance and security so the team understands your setup in depth before making any changes.

Every month, Care+ handles safe core, theme and plugin updates, off-site backups, 24/7 uptime monitoring, ongoing security hardening, performance optimisation and regular reporting. As part of your plan, we also install and manage premium performance and security plugins where appropriate, so you benefit from best-in-class tools without additional licence costs.

Yes – within clear boundaries. Unlimited edits cover changes to existing content and layouts, adjusting plugin settings, CSS tweaks, formatting landing pages and adding blog posts or products where you supply the content and instructions. They do not include custom development (for example, building new functionality in PHP), designing new pages or sites from scratch, creating content, or large one-off projects such as full site builds or major redesigns. Those are handled separately as development work.

Care+ is focused on ongoing care, not large projects or complex custom builds. New websites, full redesigns, custom themes or plugins, major checkout overhauls or wide-ranging SEO campaigns sit outside the monthly plan. In many cases we can still help with this kind of work, but it would be quoted separately on an hourly or project basis.

Once onboarding is complete, you can request edits at any time via email or by logging into your support dashboard to open a ticket. Every request is tracked there so you can see what is in progress, what is queued and what has been completed.

The support team is working around the clock and aims to respond quickly to every ticket. Typical response times are 2–6 hours for an initial human reply, with most standard tickets resolved within 24–48 hours. More complex work – such as tricky plugin conflicts or anything requiring coordination with your host or other services connected to your site – can naturally take longer. There is no formal SLA, but the system is designed to give you rapid, reliable turnaround for everyday issues and edits.

Yes. Your site is monitored around the clock, with uptime checks hitting your website every 60 seconds. If downtime is detected, the team is automatically alerted and will start working to resolve anything within their control straightaway. Support is provided via email and the ticketing system rather than phone or live chat, which keeps the team focused and efficient while still being available at any time of day.

Yes. As part of Care+, we can liaise directly with your hosting provider and with plugin or theme companies when there are conflicts, outages or bugs related to your WordPress stack. The aim is that you do not have to sit in support queues or translate technical jargon, it is all handled for you.

Care+ is designed for websites that are already live and generating revenue. The monthly plan focuses on maintaining, securing and improving an existing WordPress site. If you need a new site, a major redesign or a full rebuild, that would be handled as a separate design and development project so it gets the right level of planning and attention.

No. Each Care+ subscription covers a single WordPress installation, domain or subdomain. If you rely on multiple sites. For example, separate domains for different brands or regions, each one needs its own Care+ subscription so it can be properly monitored, backed up and maintained.

We do not run separate non-profit pricing on Care+. However, you can save by committing to an annual plan rather than paying monthly, effectively giving you several months of Care+ at no charge over the year.

After checkout, you simply follow the welcome email instructions: send your WordPress and hosting logins via the secure credential-sharing tool, confirm any special plugins or workflows we should be aware of, and share any initial edit requests or priorities. From there, the onboarding checklist, backups, monitoring and optimisation work all run in the background while you get on with running the business.
